Blue With a Bite
Styling, corset construction and editorial posters
A self-produced styling project built around a hand-made corset.
Tara made the corset and handled the wardrobe, styling and art direction. The look mixes an edgy attitude with a girly pop one: winged blue eyeliner, braids tied with blue ribbons, corded necklaces.
The shoot took place in a residential garage. The raw photographs were then reworked into posters with saturated colour, layered type and graphic cut-outs.
The corset also appears, under the title Alt Punk, in her paper Diplomacy in Fiber.
